Connection box



UmgebungsthermostatAll our enclosures consist of fiberglass-reinforced Polyamid. If you have other wishes for your applications, contact us. Also stainless steel enclosures are available. All enclosures are equipped with the necessary threads and terminals. There are standard-boxes, that are intended for 1-3 heating circuits or make it possible to connect to parallel-circuits, triangle or star-circuits with heating cables. With the connection-technology of the Destu connection-set or with the  directly-introductions theres is no need for a connection box

Adhesive tapes/ Labels  

kapillarrohrthermostatAdhesive tapes used for fixing the heating tapes and cable.

Aluminium along tapes are stuck on the heating to prevent insulating materials between heating and heated object . At the same time, they increase heat dissipation.

Silk-glass tapes are only used for attachment of the heating tapes to the pipe. This happens at a distance of about 20cm-30cm. This mehtod fixes the heating tape during the mountuing. Then, as described above,  aluminum tapes are stuck.

  The type of tape depends on the temperature.

All tapes are free of plasticizers. Plasticizers (mostly in cheap tapes available), will endanger the functionality of the heating tapes.

Labels 'Electrical heated' warn of the electrical trace heating.
At the same time, the heating circuit can be marked.

Mounting plates/mounting angles      

mounting plateMounting plates are used for attachment of connection boxes. This mounting plates, in turn, with mounting angle will be attached on the tube.
Also in the program: a mounting plate including mounting angle for easy mounting on tube or containers


Depending on the environment and aggressiveness of the atmosphere choose galvanized or stainless steel (VA) Material .

Tension tapes, spacing tapes  


Trace Heating
Tension tapes are used to mount the heating cables. The application of these tension tapes requires great care to avoid a too strong attachment to heasted object, which will cause a damage of the heating system.

To reach the right distance in multilayers or containers spacing tapes will be used, which guarantees a quick and professional installation
