After this very cold season we get in touch to Mr. Rupp, an experienced Koi lover, to ask him about his experience with our pond heating system.

Here is his email answer from 06th of Feb. 2011:
Hello Mr. Schmahl,

the past week we were called by a Quintex-interested potential customers. He hadn't used a pind heating system. Unfortunately he had to
tell us that already 12 koi had are dead; by rigid, cold nights koi `s could not survive. my girlfriend had held talks, asked about size and
depth of the pond. the pool size was fine (about 12m ³), but only deep max. 1.0 m. Thus, with double-digit minus degrees
(or only with lots of luck) no koi can survive . we told him from our very positive experiences were shared with the pond heater. T
his year once again we are very satisified with the function off the pond heater (cheap power consumption and easy handling). once again: gold medal!

Simply complete the heating, which is already build up and connected to an electronic thermostat with probe length 4m wiring and with a 3m long power cable with plug,
by laying it into your pond and take care that the end terminal is 20cm outside the pond.
Our heater is safe and meet the latest standards that means they are
provided with braid protection (according to european trace heating standard).
The FI-switch for outdoor use is mandatory
