adhesive tape are for the fixing of the heating tapes/cables.

aluminiumtapes are normally ahere along the heating tapes, to avoid insulation material to come between pipe and insulation. With this the heat-transfer from the tape to the pipe is also much better. 

glasfibre tapes are used to fix the heating tapes on the pipe. Normal distance between fixing points is 20-30 cm. After this fixing it is recommended to use the aluminiumt tapes as described above.

alll adhesive tape are free of plastisizer . plastisizer will lead to malfunction of the tape.
